Heavy Eyelids Imagination
Have you ever found yourself so drained during a speech that your eyelids grow heavy, and instead of giving in to sleep, you accidentally turn the speaker into a game by imagining multiples of them?
When I was a full-time language teacher, those long hours were relentless. My day would start at 7 a.m., with my final lesson wrapping up at 9:15 p.m. Despite my best efforts to stay focused, exhaustion sometimes took over—not because of the student or the conversation, but simply because my body was running on empty.
But giving up was never an option. In those moments, I learned to transform fatigue into a form of entertainment, turning challenges into something that kept me going, even during the toughest days.
